The versatility of our FlexCom composite flat belt expansion joints - in this case, a 1000-series belt with AR400 floating liner - makes it a highly practical engineering solution for a wide variety of exhaust and gas transfer applications. This cement factory has a FlexCom 1000 installed on their ID (Induced Draft) fan, facilitating the transfer of hot exhaust into the factory boiler. As this application required axial/lateral movement, the precise customized sizing of FlexCom belts was an attractive design feature for this production facility.
