ChemShield 5407 Round U-Belt Style Expansion Joints

The PTFE-coated bonded fiberglass cloth used to make our ChemShield 5407 expansion joint series offers excellent resistance to solvents, concentrated acids, oils and a wide variety of other chemical attacks, while providing reliable protection against abrasion. Most often attached to fans, these very economical joints are designed to be directly bolted to a duct flange via metal backings, bars and rings made from the same material as the belt itself. The lack of steel components makes the 5407 an attractively inexpensive - but highly reliable - alternative to traditional flat belts.
