Expansion Joint Accessories

•BACKING BARS - Used to hold fabric material to frame or flange.  Typically fabricated from flat bar and is available in carbon steel or stainless steel grades.

•BAND CLAMPS - Supplied for mounting sleeve style connectors to the duct.  Material used is 3/4" wide stainless steel with a T-Bolt clamp.

•FASTENERS - Any grade can be supplied for mounting expansion joints to the ductwork. •

GASKETING - Extruded PTFE, PTFE coated fiberglass, and other materials are available for a variety of service conditions.

•PILLOWS - Accumulation pillows are typically manufactured using fiberglass or ceramic insulation wrapped in stainless steel mesh.  Pillows are used to fill the joint cavity and to reduce particulate build up.

•LINERS - Flow Liners can be supplied welded to a frame or a bolt-in style.  Materials used include carbon steel, corten, stainless steel, AR plate, etc.  The liners deflect airflow and particulate away from the expansion joint belt.

•REFRACTORY LININGS - Castable and fiber refractory linings can be supplied for many service conditions.  The internal lining helps protect against abrasion and temperatures up to 2200ºF.

•PATCH KITS - All FlexCom materials are easily repaired or spliced in the field.  The 5-minute procedure uses a heat and pressure technique to form a permanent bond.
