Metal Expansion Joints
Unlike flat and
U-belt expansion
joints, FlexCom metal expansion joints contain no fabric
components, instead fabricated (depending on application
requirements) from one or more layers of stainless steel.
Noncombustible and highly durable, a custom built FlexCom
metal
bellows offers an ideal option for applications involving high
pressure (up to 300psi, versus 5-7psi in fabric joints) or
liquids.
Custom designed from high quality materials, our wide range of
steel expansion joint designs and available metal grades offers
the balance of effective movement
compensation, pressure tolerance and thermal resistance required
to meet most customer application specifications. Our bellows
may be fabricated for easy mounting to existing customer bolt
patterns via fixed or floating flanges, or else to be welded
directly to ductwork.
